Product Marketing Manager

Job Description:

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing winning strategies to profitably accelerate the growth of our product portfolios, managing projects, executing multiple marketing campaigns, and analyzing and reporting results. Responsibilities include improving existing products, defining requirements for new products and working towards successful product launches. This position is a part of the Product Group Management team and will work closely with the companys Attorney Services group.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs, markets, competitors and trends by market research, analysis of transactional and third party data, and customer surveys
Interpret market and business needs into written requirements, roadmaps and opportunities for business growth
Analyze sales and product profitability and drive improvements in key performance metrics: conversion into various subscription based products and retention of customers in subscription products.
Develop marketing strategies and plans for current products and new product introductions
Develop recommendations on product positioning, messaging, pricing and features
Proactively review processes and communication with customers along all touch points to ensure consistency with brand objectives and high levels of customer satisfaction and willingness to refer
Achieve marketing plans through appropriate marketing campaigns from creation to execution to analysis
Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing and channel/media experts on Marketing team to ensure alignment of objectives and effective execution
Responsible for effectiveness of marketing spending and profit contribution

Qualifications:

Preferred experience in B2C subscription offerings (dating sites, online services, etc.)
Background in creative and content generation
Minimum 3 years successful experience with consumer or small business product marketing, preferably in an e-commerce company
Proven track record of accelerating growth of product sales and defining products based on unmet customer needs
Solid project management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail balanced by ability to see the big picture
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with smart highly motivated colleagues
Ability to perform in a self-managed environment " must be a self-starter
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork
Prior experience in cross-departmental project coordination (product management, marketing, IT, customer service)
Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Bachelors degree
